Ms. Swarna Raja Kochi

Award-winning Tanjore artist, exponent, and teacher Ms. Swarna Raja Kochi is on a mission to revive and promote traditional Tanjore art. Born in Madurai, Swarna's passion for art began in childhood. She pursued art while studying as hobby and later specialized in Tanjore art.

Reviving Traditional Tanjore Art
Swarna researched and experimented with natural colors and ingredients to revive the traditional art form in old fresco method. She founded Tanjore Art Studio in 2008, dedicated to teaching and promoting Tanjore art using natural materials.

Spreading the Art Form
Through her studio, Swarna provides personalized guidance and online classes, making Tanjore art accessible globally. Her success has inspired her to venture into other traditional Indian art forms, creating a platform for awareness and education.
